How We Train

Every BNMotion session follows the same structure:

AGE GROUP BREAKDOWN

YSP Foundations (Ages 10–14)
Focus:

  • Speed and sprint mechanics

  • Agility and coordination

  • Strength fundamentals

YSP Performance (Ages 15–18)
Focus:

  • Advanced speed & change of direction

  • Strength and power development

  • Game-speed application

Sports-Specific Movement

While BNMotion training builds overall athletic foundations, sessions are designed to transfer directly to each athlete’s sport.

Athletes train movements that show up in competition, including:

  • Sprinting and acceleration

  • Lateral movement and change of direction

  • Deceleration and re-acceleration

  • Jumping, landing, and force absorption

  • Rotational and multi-directional control

Rather than isolating one sport at a time, training emphasizes shared athletic qualities that apply across sports such as soccer, basketball, baseball, football, volleyball, and lacrosse.

About Coach Markcus

Hi — I’m Demarkcus - Coach Markcus - Harmon, founder of BNMotion and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with over 10 years of experience helping adults and youth athletes move better, perform stronger, and live healthier.

My journey started in education. I spent six years teaching Physical Education and Health, designing school-wide fitness programs focused on movement literacy, coordination, and injury prevention. That foundation shaped my belief that everyone should train like an athlete, in their own regard.

My Approach:

At BNMotion, every session blends movement and mindset. We train dynamically across all three planes of motion — improving strength, balance, and power through functional, athletic-based movement.

Each session begins with an Active Dynamic Movement Prep, which is the foundation of every BNMotion session — a structured warm-up designed to activate the body and prime the mind for performance.

Whether you’re an adult rebuilding consistency or an athlete chasing game-speed performance, my mission is to help you move with purpose, train with intention, and live in motion.

  • Bachelor’s in Parks & Recreation Management, University of Mississippi

  • 10+ years of personal training and performance coaching experience

  • Former Director of Sports Performance – Parisi Speed School

  • Specializing in: functional strength, athletic movement, injury prevention, and mindset coaching
